What Is Faith?

To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. Faith is to believe what you do not see; the reward of this faith is to see what you believe. Faith and prayer are the vitamins of the soul; man cannot live in health without them. Faith gives you an inner strength and a sense of balance and perspective in life. We know this is all a little awkward. We are with you. We feel it too. Hang with us as we move through these times together. A great first step would be to let us know that you’re new to the Boston faith lifestyle.

Got Questions?

We’ve often been taken with the idea of choosing faith. We’re not sure it’s something we talk about often or deeply enough, assuming that faith—a belief in something bigger than yourself—is an attribute you have or one you don’t. Or more than that, assuming that belief, trust, and faith ultimately indicates a lack of honest questioning on the part of the believer.

Let's Reflect

Prayer can often seem scary and overwhelming. Do you find yourself asking questions like: “Am I doing this right? or “Can God even hear me?” Yes! Rest assured that God hears you.

Why Churches?

Research shows that people who regularly attend church report stronger social support networks and less depression. They smoke less and lead healthier and even longer lives. In a very real and physical way, Church is literally good for your health.

Kids Are Our Future

When we welcome kids in church, we acknowledge that they are important humans in the present, not just in the future: THEY ARE THE FUTURE!

Connect With Other People & Show Them A Big Smile

Better mental health – it can lighten your mood and make you feel happier. Lower your risk of dementia – social interaction is good for your brain health. Promotes a sense of safety, belonging and security. Allows you to confide in others and let them confide in you.

Stay Humble

Humble people have higher self-control — and it is key to a successful life. Humble people are better able to cope with anxiety with life after death — and on average, more helpful than average people. In addition, studies show that being humble generally leads to better work performance.

All Roads?

What’s Your Song?

Breaking The Cycle

David’s first beating came at the hands of his father on his seventh birthday, after he accidentally broke a window. “He kicked me and punched me,” David said. “Afterward, he apologized. He was an abusive alcoholic, and it’s a cycle I’m doing my best to end now.” But...

God of the Invisible

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people.– Hebrews 6:10 “Sometimes I feel as if I’m invisible. But I so want God to use me.” Ann was tidying up the exercise room at the hotel I was visiting when we...

Sound The Trumpet

Sound The Trumpet

“Taps” is a trumpet call played by the US military at the end of the day as well as at funerals. I was amazed when I read the unofficial lyrics and discovered that many of the verses end with the phrase “God is nigh” (God is near). Whether before the dark of each...
