A shepherd at heart, Pastor Howard's journey in ministry began under the guidance of the late Dr. Joe Edwards, former Pastor of The Church At Liberty Square. Alongside his wife Jenny, Pastor Howard embarked on a path that led them to establish their first pastorate at Towes Chapel Church of God in Cartersville, Georgia. Their shared calling from God saw them transforming the church into Global Harvest Church of God, a beacon of hope and community in the region.

After a period of rest and reflection, Pastor Howard and Jenny returned to the ministry, answering the call to lead Gainesville Church of God in Gainesville, Georgia. However, it was a divine call to return to Northwest Georgia that ultimately led Pastor Howard to Crane Eater Community Church in Calhoun. Under his leadership, the church flourished, expanding and undergoing multiple constructions to accommodate a growing congregation.

Today, Pastor Strickland and his wife Jenny have retired to the coastal town of North Myrtle Beach, yet their dedication to ministry remains steadfast. Through "Faith That Wins," Pastor Strickland's personal media ministry, they continue to inspire and uplift believers around the world.
